Singer/Actress, Jennifer Hudson is featured on the June 2009 cover of Essence Magazine. In the interview, J-Hud briefly spoke about the type of relationship she had with her mother Darnell Donerson ,who was murdered by her sister’s ex-boyfriend resulting from a domestic violence incident.
“I was always a mama’s baby,” Jennifer added “I’d go and sleep in her bed until I was 15 years old.“

This was Rhianna’s first red carpet event since filing a police report for domestic battery against her boyfriend singer Chris Brown. The pop star looked “rock-glam” in her black puffed sleeve suit, white ruffled shirt and a bow tie designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
The material girl herself, Madonna is featured below in the Spring/Summer Ad campaign for Louis Vuitton. The ad campaign has been so successful, that the luxury brand has provided Madonna with a contract extension which will feature the pop diva in the company’s Fall/Winter campaign.
Reality TV star, Lisa Wu Hartwell of the Real Housewives of Atlanta has launched a clothing line named Closet Freak. In a recent interview with Essence magazine, Lisa shared that the mission of her brand is to empower women to look and feel confident .
So far the line consist of unfashionable logo t-shirts. Rumor is that the clothing line will be featured on the second season of the Real Housewives which is set to premiere in June on Bravo TV.
